In the Natural History Museum you'll find much interesting and easy-to-follow information (in german) and many models, slide and film shows. And because as well as looking you can also touch and actively participate in the exhibits the museum offers a valuable experience, particularly for children. Enjoy three storeys of exhibits on indigenous fauna, flora, minerals, fossils and rock specimens. The fossilised turtles from Solothurn and the starfish from Weissenstein are of international renown.

How to get to the Museum
By train:
Solothurn lies on the main railway line between Geneva - Biel - Zürich. All trains stop here.
By car:
Only limited parking places nearby. Street signs lead to the car park «Baseltor».
