	In the Natural History Museum you'll find much interesting and easy-to-follow information (in german) and many models, slide and film shows. And because as well as looking you can also touch and actively participate in the exhibits the museum offers a valuable experience, particularly for children. Enjoy three storeys of exhibits on indigenous fauna, flora, minerals, fossils and rock specimens. 	How to get to the Museum By train: Solothurn lies on the main railway line between Geneva - Biel - Zürich. All trains stop here. By car: Only limited parking places nearby. Street signs lead to the car park «Baseltor».

	The exhibits focus on the natural world of the region. Therefore the Natural History Museum of Solothurn really means the Museum of the Jura.		This rock specimen with superbly preserved starfish from the Weissenstein has worldwide renown.
	Listen to forty different bird songs and test your knowledge by playing the quiz.		Visit our outpost near Lommiswil/Oberdorf and admire the genuine Dinosaur tracks in the quarry. Who never wished to stroke a real teddy? Now you have the chance to do so.
	The exhibit of «Man» not only concerns the biology of man but also focuses on our culture, which distinguishes the species homo sapiens from other primates.
